There is PostCrossing, a wonderful postcard trading website in which you can trade postcards with users all over the world.

And you can check out Swap-bot, which takes snail mail to a whole different level. You can swap a variety of things in addition to just letters, postcards, and other things that mail-lovers enjoy.
